Jan McGuire

Jan is a management consultant, trainer and coach. Her experience is founded in the public sector, including with Birmingham City Council where she operated as an internal consultant undertaking a wide variety of assignments. These assignments involved provision of support for organisational business planning, performance assessment, equality and diversity planning and team and individual development.

 Jan's background is in public sector sport and leisure management, where she managed a variety of operational units and developed and implemented a wide range of accredited training and development programmes. She later moved on to specialise in supporting strategic and operational teams to achieve national accreditation such as Investors in People.

Jan has experience of working with the not-for-profit sector in business planning, mentoring and coaching, mainly at a local level with voluntary groups, but was part of a European tri Partnership supporting people from black and minority ethnic backgrounds in France, UK and the Netherlands. She is a qualified PRINCE2 project manager.
