John McGuire

John is an experienced coach, change manager and relationship builder. With a strong practitioner background in public sector management, he has held senior positions with local authorities and has been Chief Executive of a housing association. Prior to forming Broadlands, he was a Director of Consulting with a FTSE 100 Plc. During this time, John focused on public sector consultancy and supported a wide range of local authority projects.

John has directed and delivered major change programmes for a wide range of clients across the UK and has supported organisations with transformation and e-government, performance improvement and re-engineering, options appraisal, best value and service review.

John is a skilful negotiator and is able to communicate effectively. He enjoys contact with people at all levels, is an experienced facilitator and is successful in managing large programmes or discrete self-contained projects.

John is a CTI trained coach working with both personal and corporate clients.  His corporate work often includes a mix of leadership training and one to one coaching.  Clients have included company directors, owner-managers of medium sized businesses, CEOs and managers of public bodies, including local government and the Police.

John is a chartered Secretary, holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Law from the University of the West of England in Bristol and is a PRINCE 2 Accredited Practitioner.
