Keith Mitchell

An accountant by qualification, Keith has strong financial management skills and brings creative and innovative solutions to business challenges. His experience spans the full change lifecycle from business vision and strategy, business planning and benefits cases, to detailed programme/project planning and implementation, including complex stakeholder and change management. Keith is familiar with a number of tools and techniques in carrying out this work including PRINCE2.

Keith has over 20 years experience in delivering financial and management consultancy assignments and fulfilling interim manager/director roles. He specialises in the design, development and delivery of service transformation and improvement programmes involving people, process/system and property rationalisation. He has considerable experience of working with both the public and private sectors with the last 10 years focusing on Local and Sub-Regional Government. Keith’s breadth of experience stems from working for an international management consultancy, the UK’s largest and fastest growing public sector consultancy and an international built asset consultancy. This has included a number of senior interim management roles in the public sector. He has also spent 5 years working for two fast-growing international plcs in operational roles.

Keith’s most recent work has involved business efficiency, cost reduction, scenario planning and developing new operating and funding strategies and plans for public/private sub-regional organisations.

Keith always brings a pro-active attitude and leaves a positive effect on client’s staff while delivering a high quality, value for money service.
