Peter Joyce

Peter is a highly motivated consultant who has worked with all officer levels and members in local authorities in the UK and in the EU. He has extensive skills in sustainability strategies and procurement, and has worked in the public and private sectors.

Peter was a chief officer for the largest London borough, and had previously worked as a manager in a number of unitary and district authorities. He set up his own successful open space management consultancy in 1998, and has since worked as an associate to a number of consultancy companies. He is currently an associate consultant specialising in environmental sustainability with Broadlands.

As a consultant Peter has implemented change programmes for local authorities and other public bodies throughout the UK, in the EU, and in Russia. These have included the development of environmental strategy and policy and sustainability appraisals.

Peter has also drafted Year 2 of the Mayor of London’s sustainable purchasing report.  He has also had experience of facilitating seminars and workshops across disciplines in relation to a wide range of sustainability issues.
