Vince is a passionate and enthusiastic accountant and manager with considerable experience of working in the Finance function and in Transformation programmes in both the Public and Private sectors and enjoys managing change and leading in a dynamic environment.
Vince is a qualified CIPFA accountant with considerable experience in the Public Sector.
Vince has a detailed understanding of Transformation programmes with direct experience of Customer Services transformation programmes in various City Councils where he has used his financial skill set to support the development of Business cases. As part of these projects he has experience in the development of costs and benefits realisation models required to support the different stages of Business cases.
Vince has also worked in the Central Government part of the Public Sector, specifically in the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) where he focussed on two of the largest programmes, the implementation of Pension Credit in 2002-2004 and on the Decision Making and Appeals process review in 1999-2000.
In 2000/01 he was interim Financial Controller running the Navy Army and Air Force Institute’s (NAAFI) accounting department in Darlington. In this role he ran several projects concurrently and managed milestone achievements as well as keeping all key stakeholders updated with regular reporting.
Vince has been a project manager in a number of consultancy roles and well versed in its disciplines and procedural aspects. Vince is an accredited PRINCE2 practitioner.
